We were given this engine in a sad state with a few bits missing.  Progress has been made with it as now apart in my garage and sandblasted.

Next steps are a good clean and put it back together.  easier said than done. I have the benefit of a couple of donor engines to get missing parts to make one good engine.

April/May 2020

The Covid lockdown has been a blessing of sorts to get onto a few projects. This has been one of them.

All now apart and cleaned up and as a test run put back together again to see what i was missing.

As an interesting aside.  This a set up unique to New Zealand with the mag and drive gears.
